Request: hot chocolate mix

In an effort to save money and satisfy cravings, I want to make hot chocolate mix at home. I have tried several and will admit that they are seldom up to snuff. But I was hoping someone(s) here has one they make over and over again for me to try. Please and thank you.

Have you tried the church's mix from the cannery? On the price list I have it's $7.82 for one can. I think it's pretty good.

I have but it is a hassle to get down there and can it. And the Elderly Missionaries that were in charge last time I went (that was eons ago) were really mean to me (does that sound sensitve? The guy was totally sexist and treated me like an idiot) and very specific that you couldn't buy anything without canning it first. Maybe that has changed. But I am scared to go back and be confronted by him again. (I am so silly)

Oh yes, the missionaries there were pretty rude to me too couple of years ago. It as changed. The last time I went in (a few months ago) the man was so nice and told me to take whatever I wanted off the shelf of already canned stuff. I bought 3 or 4 boxes of stuff that another group had canned earlier. He was very nice.

Is it the same couple? It has probably been a couple of years (I dont think I had Finn yet). I will go back because I am having no success with the recipes I have found. Thanks.

1 box Carnation Non-Fat Powdered Milk (the one that says it makes 8 quarts)
1 (14 oz) box Nestles Nesquick
2 small boxes Jello Chocolate Cook and Serve Pudding
1 lb box Powdered Sugar
1 lb Coffee Mate Non-Dairy Creamer Mix all together well.
To serve:1/3 c Cocoa Mix to 3/4 c hot water

This is my mother in law's recipe. It makes a ton of mix so it may seem a little costly up front but it should be enough to last a family of four a year.
